AIRFISH-2

The success with Airfish–1 created high interest from the market side. One disadvantage for the use as a recreational boat was the high wing span of AF-1.

For the use in regular marinas, a lower wing-span was recommended. In order to test a wing with extremely low aspect ratio, the AF-1 wing was replaced by such new wing of low aspect ratio.

Thus, Airfish–2 had the fuselage of AF-1, a new wing and modified tail surfaces.

After a series of trials, sufficient results were available to start up with the design of Airfish–3.
